Data you enter
The editor uses what you type to draw your receipt: business and contact details, customer name and address, receipt number, date and time, items, quantities, prices, tax, discount and tip, payment method and amount, the last four digits of a card if you add them, messages, and barcode or QR code content.
This happens in your browser. The details are not sent to this site.
Browser storage
Your draft is saved automatically in your browser's local storage on this device:
- The editor and the home page share one draft; each receipt maker page (restaurant, rent, cash, thermal) keeps its own.
- A draft that cannot be read is kept as a backup copy so it is not lost.
- Logos are stored in the browser's IndexedDB storage for this site.
The site uses no cookies for this. Other browsers and devices cannot see your drafts.
Downloads and logos
PDF, PNG and JPEG files are created in your browser and saved straight to your device. Print works the same way.
When you add a logo, the file is read from your device, checked, and redrawn in the browser, which removes hidden data such as camera location. SVG logos are cleaned of scripts and links. The logo is then kept in this browser with your draft.
Word and Excel templates are ordinary files you download from this site. What you type into them stays in those files on your device.
Hosting logs
Like any website, the server that delivers these pages may record technical details of each request, such as the time, the page address, your IP address and your browser type. Receipt details are never part of a page address.
Third-party services
The site uses no analytics, no advertising and no social media widgets. Fonts and scripts are served from this site itself, not from other companies.
Retention and clearing
Drafts and logos stay in your browser until you remove them; they have no expiry date. To remove them, open the editor, choose Reset, then Clear saved data. It asks first and cannot be undone. Clearing this site's data in your browser settings removes them too.
Files you downloaded stay on your device until you delete them.
